In this geeklist I'm trying to gather together all the 3D print resources I can find for different board games and board game accessories. This because I just got myself a RepRap Prusa i3 and want to make stuff for my games.

You do not need your own 3D printer to get these parts. There are services like Shapeways (http://www.shapeways.com/) where you can send in a 3D model file and get it printed for you.

I'll continuously add new resource links and entries. But please feel free to add the ones you have found or made.
I'll update both with new items (if I find a resource for a games not currently on this list), but also with new resources in an item (if I find a resource for an already existing game on this list). So subscribe both to the list but also to each item you are interested in.

Adding Thingiverse links
When you add links from thingivers the : in the url breaks up the hyperlink if you just past it in. So please use the "URL" button to get this and enter the thingivers links in between, like this = https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2949175 (without the spaces infront and behind the link). 3D Printer resources:
3D Hubs - https://www.3dhubs.com/
Sculpteo - https://www.sculpteo.com/en/
Shapeways - http://www.shapeways.com/
Treatstock - https://www.treatstock.com/
Local library - Check with your local library, they might have a printer and even offer classes on how to print. 3D Model directories
MyMiniFactory - https://www.myminifactory.com/
Shapeways - http://www.shapeways.com/
Thingiverse - http://www.thingiverse.com/
YouMagine - https://www.youmagine.com/ 3D Modells
If you want or need a specific modell, you are welcome to ask me or other active modellers to create it for you. If they can I think they'll help you, and even more if you reward their time and work, because it takes some time to modell a good object for 3D printing. As several of you have, because of this GeekList. Find prints for your games

created a great tool to be used alongside this list. Here "you can enter a BGG username and it will retrieve that user's BGG collection of 'owned' games and compare it to this list. For each matching game it retrieves the entry, and all associated comments. It then parses the fields for URLS, which it happily displays for your convenience." - tofarley

After using my original design for several months, I decided to refactor my designs and add some features to improve the usability of the boxes:

1. Rounded boxes -- All of the boxes now use rounded corners and edges that make them more comfortable to use.
2. Locking lids -- All of the boxes now use press-fit lids that are easy to separate, but lock into place, to keep from accidently spilling the tiles.
3. Redesigned hex boxes -- The redesigned hex boxes and lids engage to keep tiles from sliding, but don't interfere with opening or closing the boxes.
4. Redesigned token boxes -- now with fillets in the compartments, for easier access.
5. Smaller boxes -- the newer box designs are easier to remove from the game boxes.
6. Refactored models -- now it's much faster and easier to create designs for new games.
