How To Record Your Voice While Playing Music

   i'm big into freestyling. i have over 1500 instrumentals on my phone

   i can't figure out how to play them and record myself (either audio or video) at the same time.

   i figure i'm either gonna have to download a new music player that won't close or a video/audio recorder that won't close the "Music" player that came with my evo.

   and before anyone goes tryin to be smart, i realize that even if i was able to accomplish such an action the quality would probably be really low due to speaker and mic being so close.

   my intent is more of a "on the fly lyric composition" rather than a " put myself on youtube to show everyone how awesome i am"

   Hey,

   One of my original intentions was to allow HiFiCorder to stay open while you do other things. So you can turn on HiFiCorder and run it in the background while you are doing other things.

   Run a loop track in another app, and freestyle on top of it, then capture all in HiFiCorder.

   Run an instrumental track on youtube and freestyle on top....no problem.

   Run a track from your music player and sing over it too...The possibilities are endless. Thanks!!

   Yes there is without any app and on your phone! How I do it is play panDora or music and on the camcorder on your phone press play then pull down ur top screen and press play on the pandora or music app and it will continue playing while ur recording. Believe it or not my 9 yr old at the time 6 figured that out!

   Hi ,

   Just figured out, how to convert a "recording.tir" from TuneIn Radio to mp3 format:

   I used SCR screen recorder pro apk !
   In SCR you can choose the audio source, so I choosed system audio.
   Then I start screenrecording and I start playback in TuneIn of my recorded file.
   When you're finished with recording you could use "trimvid apk" to select a precise section of your screen-recorded video.

   Now you have a mp4-file (video with sound). I used "ES3 fileexplorer" to rename my fileextention from .mp4 into .mp3

   This trick gives a very good soundquality (compared to the method proposed by "Svelte84")

   Your volume can't be above 7 or 8 for you to hear your voice but it's pretty clear and very good quality for on a phone to listen back to later I'm glad I still have my android phone for this reason

   Evernote app has an audio note function that records while your audio is playing.
